I’m Camille, a certified Patisserie Chef, owner of Sweet Devotion, and lover of all things sweet.
In my kitchen, I believe that food tastes best when it’s made with love. My cake and dessert creations are carefully handcrafted, using only the finest ingredients. Every cake that I create is a completely original piece of edible art, custom made from concept to consumption. I bake and decorate every cake fresh to order, to guarantee that your cake will be perfect for your occasion. I enjoy sourcing locally grown, seasonal produce to use in my recipes, to create wholesome, honest cakes that are full of flavour, personality, and style.
My love for baking was first sparked as a child, watching Japanese craftsmen and artisan Pastry Chefs on TV shows, who opened my eyes to a world where desserts were only limited by imagination. Inspired by the excitement of being able to bring ideas to life to create something magnificent from scratch, I am delighted to have been able to turn my passion into a career. Being a patisserie chef, I take inspiration from the dynamic world around me, and express myself through my creations. Through this process, I enjoy feeling a sense of connection to my customers, and I’m always invigorated by the constant evolution of the food industry, due to its connection with society, community and people.
Having spent a number of years working alongside high-profile dessert chefs at innovative venues such as Measure and Ritz Carlton, I am proud to bring my own unique style to Sweet Devotion’s customers, and I look forward to meeting you in store soon to collect an order for your next occasion.
